Antminer KS5 ASICs’ can make 20 Th/s (±3%) on kHeavyHash (KASPA) algorithm, which is equal to the hashrate of 200 Iceriver KS0, consuming 4,5 times less electricity — only 3000 watts versus 13000 watts.

What to Mine on Antminer KS5, KS5 Pro?

Bitmain Antminer KS5 and KS5 Pro ASICs can only mine kHeavyHash algorithm: KASPA and SEDRA coins. You can’t reconfigure them to any other algorithms.

Click “Save” to save the settings, and then click “Restart Miner” to restart the ASIC.

Monitor your ASIC’s work on the “Dashboard” page. Here you will see your hashrate, statistics of accepted shares and all related information.

Antminer KS5, KS5 Pro Firmware Update

If necessary, you can update or change the firmware yourself, for this:

1. Go to the manufacturer's website and download the required firmware: https://shop.bitmain.com/support/download

2. Open the page for updating “Firmware upgrade”, select the downloaded update.

3. Update and reboot your ASIC according to the developer's instructions.
